About Us

In 1966, George Schmidt opened a small business called Shoppers Supply. Starting out as a small Fleet & Farm store operation in Spencer, Iowa it blossomed into a family owned, multi-store retailing business. In 1989, George’s son Jim took over the stores. Today, Shoppers Supply is operated by Jim and his son Tyler.

In December 2011, Shoppers Supply opened its first store outside of Iowa, expanding its family to Apache Junction, Arizona. Shoppers Supply is happy to announce it has opened a second store, which is the main headquarters, in Chandler, AZ. This store is located at the crossroads of Alma School and Queen Creek.

Shoppers Supply carries a large selection of merchandise at competitive prices including: automotive, clothing & footwear, hand & power tools, electrical, farm & ranch supplies, firearms (at select locations), feed, housewares, lawn & garden, pet supplies and plumbing.
